Silver City is a 4-piece string band that combines a lively mix of classic bluegrass and country with the best of modern Americana roots music. Distinctive vocals and superb harmonies are at the forefront with a playlist of hidden gems, well-crafted originals, and new renditions of old favorites.

Leta Simons (vocals, guitar) and Dan Pollak (vocals, upright bass), partners in life and music, developed the sound and repertoire of Silver City with a focus on music that is fun and entertaining. Spanning bluegrass, classic country, Western swing and folk, the band covers Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and The Stanley Brothers alongside Nanci Griffith, Gillian Welch and Johnny Cash. The set list also showcases standout originals penned by Leta, a veteran singer/songwriter in her own right. Dan and Leta combine their talents with a rotating cast of exceptional musicians to deliver a high-spirited mix of music that blends tradition and originality.
