Silver City combines a lively mix of classic bluegrass and country with the best of modern Americana roots music. Distinctive vocals and superb harmonies are at the forefront with a playlist of hidden gems, well-crafted originals, and new renditions of old favorites.

Silver City started out in the Mid-Atlantic region, entertaining audiences there at festivals, fairs, concerts, pubs and clubs for ten years. Moving to Folsom in 2021, band originators Leta Simons & Dan Pollak picked up right where they left off, bringing their style and blend of bluegrass, country, Americana, originals, and a touch of swing to new audiences in the Sierra Foothills, Central Valley, and Gold Country of California. Their distinctive vocals and harmonies are backed by some of the area’s best musicians. Silver City's CD “Somewhere in These Hills” can be heard on popular streaming sites, with the title song written by Leta, who honed her songwriting skills in Nashville.
